Episode 8: Fourth man in the fire

Sookie cannot take watching the vampire nest fire, and runs home being inconsolable.

Tara’s mom seems to be recovering one morning when Tara wakes up to breakfast made by her. She later catches on with Sookie where an argument ensues over the fang marks on her neck.

At Jason’s house, he and Amy are in bed but without any sex having happened. It was the V that was getting them the effect of calmness. Jason recalls and shares the death of his folk and comforting Amy takes him into her arms.

Sookie shows up for work in a great mood because Bill was still alive, something that Sam was not too excited about. Amy’s quick bite with Jason at Merlotte’s turns to a job. Sookie gives her a heads-up about his brother and she is quite ok telling Sookie not to be that judgmental.

Tara runs to Sam after a confrontation with her mom. Running to Sam only means that the two jump in bed, and soon after Tara leaves immediately they are done.

Jason and Amy trail Lafayette as he goes out seeking a fresh stock of vampire blood.

Eric, the Viking vampire calls for Sookie’s help in identifying the thief responsible for the missing $60,000. Sookie agrees and decides to interview the employees so she can point out the real culprit. Longshadow is identified as the criminal, a discovery that makes him draw out his fangs and lash at Sookie for pointing him out to Eric.
